Emergency LED Lighting Solution
The only radiation-resistant emergency lighting solution where the luminaire itself requires no modification. Any Luminos Nuclear luminaire operates as both standard and emergency lighting. On mains failure, the system automatically switches to battery backup — the same fitting already inside the radiation zone handles both functions.
The LL-ECB control cabinet and LiFePO4 battery bank are installed outside the radiation zone. Up to 150 hours of backup operation with four 60W luminaires. Accepts both 230V AC and 48V DC input.

How It Works

Standard operation: Luminos Nuclear luminaires run normally on mains power. No difference in appearance or function.

Mains failure: The LL-ECB control cabinet detects the outage and automatically switches the luminaires to the LiFePO4 battery bank within milliseconds.

Continued operation: Luminaires remain on for up to 150 hours. The battery and cabinet stay safely outside the radiation zone — no personnel entry required.

Mains restored: The system automatically returns to mains power and begins recharging the battery bank.
